Junk removal in Tempe, priced from a photo
No bait-and-switch pricing and no tip screen. Text a picture of the pile and you get a flat price in writing, usually within the hour. That number is what you pay when it is gone. $150 minimum, and the landfill is our last stop rather than our first.

No bait and switch, and no tip screen
Two things happen constantly in this trade, and both of them are why people dread booking a hauler.
The first is the low quote. A number over the phone that goes up once the truck is in your driveway and your garage is half empty, at the exact moment you have the least leverage. That is the bait and switch, and it works because you have already committed your morning.
The second is the tip screen. The job is done, the invoice is settled, and then a tablet gets turned around with 18, 20 and 25 percent glowing on it while somebody stands there watching you choose.
We do neither. You get a flat price in writing before we load anything, and that number is what you pay at the end. No hourly clock, no surcharge for stairs, no disposal fee bolted on afterwards, and nothing to sign but the invoice you already agreed to.
If the pile is bigger than the photos showed, we tell you before we load, not after.

Who we do this for
ASU move-outs
End of semester, lease turnover, or a roommate who left a futon behind. We work around Tempe's student housing on the days it actually matters, and we can pick up from an apartment, a dorm curb or a storage unit.
Homes decluttering
The garage you cannot park in, the spare room that became storage, the patio furniture that has not been sat on since 2019. One pickup and it is gone, with the good pieces going to donation instead of a hole in the ground.
Moving out
Whatever did not make the truck. We clear it before the walkthrough so you get the deposit back or hand the buyer an empty house, and we can work from photos if you are already gone.
Booking it takes four texts
- You send photos. Two or three is fine, plus a line about where it sits and two dates that suit you.
- We send the price. A flat number when the photos are clear. If something is hidden behind the pile we send a range instead and tell you exactly what would move it either way.
- You approve it. One word back is enough. Nothing is booked, and nothing is owed, until you do.
- We lock the date and a time window, text you a confirmation, and text again when we are on the way. No four-hour wait by the window.
If we quoted a range, it closes to a single number before we schedule, not on the day. You should know the exact price before a truck is booked to your address.
Text photos and you get a flat price back in writing, usually within the hour. What to send.
Then the day itself
- We text when we are on the way, so you are not sat waiting on a window.
- You point at what goes. Changed your mind on a piece? Say so, that is normal.
- We carry it out, load it and sweep the spot.
- You pay once it is gone, at the price you already approved.
What it costs
$150 minimum per pickup. Past that the price comes from volume, weight and access, and you see it before you book anything. How pricing works.
The price we text is the price you pay. No hourly rate, no renegotiating in the driveway, no disposal fee added at the end, and no tablet flipped around asking for a tip.
Three things move a quote, and none of them is how long we take:
- Volume. How much room it takes up in the truck.
- Weight. Concrete, rock, tile and dirt cost far more to dump than a truck full of couches.
- Access. Curbside is quicker than a third-floor walk-up. It does not change our rate, it changes your quote.
- Whether it has to come apart. A shed, a swing set, a bed frame, a sectional that will not fit through the door, a treadmill that has to be broken down to be carried. Taking something apart is labor on top of hauling it, so it costs more, and we would rather tell you that in the quote than surprise you on the day.
Where it actually goes
Hauling something away is easy. Hauling it to the right place takes an extra stop, and that is the part nobody sees.
- Usable furniture and household goods go to donation or resale where a center will take them. A sofa somebody could sit on should not be buried.
- Metal goes to scrap. Appliances, bed frames, exercise equipment, patio furniture.
- Electronics go to e-waste recycling. TVs, monitors, towers and printers are kept out of general waste for good reason.
- Cardboard and clean green waste get separated rather than mixed into a landfill load.
- What is genuinely finished goes to the transfer station. Last stop, not first.
We are not going to quote you a diversion percentage. We do not weigh every load, so any number we published would be invented. What we can tell you is where your particular load went, if you ask.
Two things people do not expect us to do
Document shredding pickups. Boxes of old files, tax paperwork and records collected and taken to a commercial shredding facility. Priced the same way as everything else.
Donation hauls. If everything going is still usable, we can drive the whole load to a donation center rather than the transfer station. Same price either way, because the work is the same.
What we take
Furniture, appliances, electronics, garage and move-out clearouts, yard and remodel debris. What we take. Furniture, mattresses, appliances, TVs, exercise equipment, boxes, yard waste and remodel debris all go on the truck.
No paint, oil, gas, tires, chemicals or anything else the landfill turns away. The full list.
Tempe only
We work one city. We are not driving in from the far side of the valley, so the schedule holds and a job that runs long in Surprise is not your problem.
Questions
How much does junk removal cost in Tempe?
There is a $150 minimum per pickup. Past that it depends on volume, weight and access, so text photos and you get a flat written price back before you commit to anything.
Why not published prices?
Because a photo prices the job properly and a price list does not. A sofa on a curb and the same sofa down a flight of stairs are different jobs. You still get a firm number before booking, which is the part that matters.
How does booking work?
Send photos, we send a price, you approve it by text, and we lock a date and a time window. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
How soon can you come?
Send two dates that work and a rough time of day, and we will confirm one of them by text, then text again when we are on the way.
Do I have to be home?
No, as long as we can reach the items and the price is agreed by text. Plenty of pickups happen while people are at work or in class.
What happens to my stuff?
Usable items go to donation or resale, metal goes to scrap, electronics go to e-waste recycling. Only what is genuinely finished goes to the transfer station.
What will you not take?
Paint, oil, gas, tires, propane tanks, chemicals, asbestos, medical waste, batteries and ammunition. Those need household hazardous waste disposal and we will point you to it.
