How it works

Photograph the boxes, tell us roughly how many there are and where they sit, and you get a flat price back. We collect them and deliver them to a commercial shredding facility.

Be clear about what this is. We are a pickup and delivery service, not a mobile shred truck. Nothing is destroyed in your driveway while you watch. If watching the destruction matters to you, book a mobile shredding company directly and we will say so rather than talk you into this.

Certificates of destruction

A certificate comes from the shredding facility, not from us. Where the facility issues one, we will pass it straight to you. If your business needs certified destruction with a documented chain of custody for compliance reasons, go direct to a certified shredding provider.

What usually goes

Old tax records, closed client files, bank statements, medical paperwork, contracts and the filing cabinet drawers nobody has opened since the office moved. Binders, paper clips and staples are fine.

Hard drives, USB sticks and backup tapes are a different process. Tell us if any are in the pile and we will point you to somewhere that handles media destruction properly.

Office clearouts

Shredding usually turns up in the middle of a bigger job: a closing office, a records room being emptied, a practice changing hands. Boxes go to the shredder, furniture goes to donation or scrap, and the rest goes to the transfer station. One pickup, one price.

Questions

Do you shred on site?

No. We collect the boxes and deliver them to a commercial shredding facility. If you need to watch it happen, book a mobile shred truck instead.

Can I get a certificate of destruction?

Where the facility issues one, yes, and we pass it to you. For compliance-grade certified destruction with chain of custody, go direct to a certified provider.

Do I need to remove staples or folders?

No. Binders, clips and staples are fine.

Do you take hard drives?

No. Media destruction is a separate process and we will point you to somewhere that does it properly.

How much is it?

Priced the same as any other pickup: $150 minimum, flat quote from a photo of the stack.
